This speciailist engineering and environmental consultancy are experiencing significant growth and development. Recent M&A activity has seen them join forces with partners abroad to further develop their credentials and footprint. The business is dedicated to developing solutions that drive environmental improvements across Australia and internationally. They are seeking a Recruitment Specialist based in Brisbane or Sydney to lead the Talent Acquisition function, aimed at future growth.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will take ownership of the recruitment, talent identification, onboarding and strategy across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and provide proactive talent solutions.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes of technically specialised environmental positions as well as head office / support roles
- Support new initiatives and strategies around graduates, new hires, retention and Workday integration
- Manage the onboarding of new hires and contribute to various HR tasks and projects
- Lead projects relevant to the Talent Acquisition space
- Collaborate with the wider team on the Workday integration programme
- Proactively source and build relationships with potential hires
- Keep abreast of developments in the industry and foster relationships with external partied to market the organisation to potential hires.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and ambitious, with a strong results-driven approach and a technical aptitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to assess recruitment needs accurately and solely drive the recruitment process.
Ideally, the successful candidate will come from an environmental / engineering / construction, mining / infrastructure space but cultural fit will be the main criteria.
