We're a professional couple living in beautiful Elwood, near the beach, looking for a caring, reliable, fun, and experienced nanny to join our family and help care for our two boys (1 and 3 years old).

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Typically, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week (7:30 am – 5:30 pm)
  • Flexibility is important. While the role is usually four days per week, there may occasionally be minor adjustments to the schedule, such as changing your usual day off or working a fifth day in a week if needed.
  • The role is offered on a casual basis through a professional nanny payroll company, ensuring proper payroll and entitlements.

  • Enjoys providing a nurturing and structured environment

This role involves caring for the boys, preparing simple nutritious meals, supporting their routines, and helping keep their spaces tidy. Whilst the children's development and care are always the first priority, light household tasks such as tidying, laundry, ironing, keeping the kitchen organised, and running the dishwasher will be required where possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan engaging daily activities (stories, arts, sensory play, outings, music classes, park visits)
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
  • Maintain an organised play area and children's belongings
  • Support learning through positive interaction and play-based education
  • Drop off and pick up the children from activities or sessions as required
  • Attend occasional local activities
  • Provide loving care and consistency throughout the day

Must Haves

  • Early Childhood Education Qualifications (or equivalent experience)
  • Working With Children Check and Police Check
  • Driver's licence and own car
  • Non-smoker
  • Physically active and comfortable with toddlers
  • Excellent communication and reliability
  • References from previous families preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certificates are desirable
