CCWOK Pty Ltd is a dine-in restaurant in North Melbourne specialising in authentic
Malaysian and broader South-East Asian cuisine. We are seeking an experienced Chef to
join our team on a full-time basis.
Key requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a restaurant environment.
Strong wok skills and capability across Malaysian, Chinese, and South-East Asian
dishes.
Proven experience in kitchen operations, including rostering, stock control,
budgeting, cost control, and catering.
Ability to lead and supervise junior staff to maintain quality and consistency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Language skills in Cantonese or Mandarin will be viewed favourably but are not
essential.
About the role
As a Chef at CCWOK, you will:
Collaborate with the owner and Head Chef to deliver a varied, authentic menu for
dine-in service.
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and food quality, and step up when the Head
Chef is unavailable.
Contribute to menu development, ordering, inventory management, and compliance
with food safety standards.
Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on
guest experience.
