About the role

As a Maintenance Carpenter at Scott Construct Pty Ltd, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing the company's commercial and residential properties. This is a full-time position based in Norwood, SA 5067. You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of carpentry tasks to ensure our properties are well-maintained and in good condition.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on doors, windows, floors, walls, fascia repairs, gyprock & painting
  • Carry out minor renovations and refurbishments as needed
  • Assist with the installation of new fixtures and fittings
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete larger projects
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
