The Role:
We're looking for a friendly and motivated individual to fill a permanent position as an BIM Coordinator. Ideal for a team player who will enjoy a mixture of BIM helpdesk and IT Support work. We encourage applicants who understand BIM Authoring Software such as ArchiCAD or Revit and looking to learn the BIM role while supporting a diverse team and can meet these challenges with enthusiasm. Key duties include:
- BIM support to office team members and helpdesk support to wider DKO user group
- Project audits, maintenance & rebuilding
- Enforcement of documentation standards
- Project Model Manager level support as required
- Induction training of new staff
- Training staff on best practice and workflows
- Reporting and Surveying of current systems
- Participate in Global BIM Meetings
- Assist with roll out of new software versions
- Run pilot projects in conjunction with model managers
- Keep abreast of updates to CAD platform
- Create and update guide notes for BIM
- Low level IT Support
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience providing exceptional customer service with a "can do" attitude towards problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Proactive nature with demonstrated initiative and creativity
- Previous experience within architectural or professional services environment desirable
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Effective organization and time management skills to work efficiently towards deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with ArchiCAD is preferred
- Experience with Revit and ACC
- Architectural Experience preferred
- Experience with other BIM authoring software considered
