We are a family-owned Australian business located in Dandenong. We specialise in making delicious vegetable burgers, schnitzels and other plant-based products.

We are looking for a friendly, hard-working, and reliable person to join our production team to take a key role in the packing and despatch activities.

About the role

Working in a small team you will be required to operate flow wrappers, tray sealers, metal detectors, pallet jacks and walkie stackers, and to move and rotate stock in coolrooms and freezers. Regular cleaning, sanitising, and assembling of equipment is involved and you must be capable of maintaining accurate and legible records.

You need to be physically fit, enjoy working standing up, have good food hygiene and work safety awareness, and be able to perform the manual handling tasks involved.

You must have good attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Skills and experience

This position will suit you if you have at least 2 years experience in a food production or food packing and despatch role where you have manually operated, assembled and disassembled food handling equipment.

Hours of employment

You need to be available to be rostered between 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis.

This position is not suitable for people who are currently studying and will be studying in the next 12 months.

Work eligibility

You must have fulltime Australian working rights and proof of your work rights will be required to process your application.

Job Types: Permanent, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
