As our Insurance Assessor - Estimator Training Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our vehicle repair and estimation processes. Join our national team to develop sustainable solutions that balance quality and efficiency.
Based at any of our locations across Australia and, reporting to the Criteria Assessment & Audit manager, the role includes but is not limited to;
- Developing accurate processes to ensure thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damage and determine the necessary repairs following approved repair methods.
- Supporting and promoting the use of the appropriate estimating software, diagnostic tools, and systems to deliver efficient and effective estimates.
- Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate cost efficiency for new vehicle designs or modifications.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or performance.
- Preparation and presentation of regular reports on assessment findings, repairs estimates and audit outcomes.
- Identification of operational assessment challenges and inefficiencies to develop sustainable solutions.

- Senior level experience within automotive repair or insurance industries
- Commercial and financial acumen and analytical rigor
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent computer literacy – including advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated high motivation and an action orientation.
