About the role
The Senior Social Worker – Inpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, counselling interventions (individual and group) and complex psychological support to children & adolescents, parental guardians and their relatives accessing services in the Statewide CAMHS Inpatient Unit at Bloomfield Hospital Campus. The role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and provides high level clinical advice on the psychosocial management of children & adolescents admitted to the unit.  
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a highly motivated, skilled and collaborative CAMHS Inpatient MDT, this includes a range of health professionals, Child Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Dieticians, Specialty Nursing and others. The Inpatient CAMHS MDT is dedicated to assessing, treating and ongoing evaluation of children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing serious impacts on their mental health and emotional well-being.
As a Level 4 Senior Social Worker in this position, there is an opportunity to apply your supervisory knowledge and skills and engaged in the development of social workers in CAMH Social Work practice.
The Orange Health Service Social Work Department operates across both the Orange General Hospital and Bloomfield Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Campus. This position is an opportunity for Social Workers both local or looking for a 'Tree change' to become a member of a dynamic rural Social Work Department.
