About the Opportunity

Are you a passionate social worker ready to make a profound impact in sexual health? Step into a dynamic role where you'll deliver advanced psychosocial support and counselling to clients navigating STIs, HIV, and BBVs—empowering them through diagnosis, disclosure, and relationship challenges. You'll advocate fiercely within health systems and community agencies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate clients on prevention and treatment. As a leader in evidence-based practice, you'll shape quality improvement initiatives, mentor future professionals, and uphold cultural respect and ethical excellence. If you're driven by compassion, advocacy, and clinical integrity—this is your calling.

What You'll be Doing

This position is responsible for providing specialist counselling services and case management to consumers and their carers of the sexual health service on issues relating to their sexual health, sexually transmitted diseases and blood borne viruses.

The position will also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.
