Cloud

What you will be doing:

• Assessing legacy and on premises EUC environments (Citrix, RDS, etc) for migration to Cloud
• Designing and architecting cloud-first EUC solutions on AWS and Azure
• Migrate legacy EUC environments to cloud native solutions on AWS or Azure
• Preparing business case(es) for moving on-premise environments to the cloud.
• Using configurations as code (CloudFormation, Terraform etc.)
• Automating manual processes and server provisioning (PowerShell, Bash, Python
• etc)
• Leading rehost migrations, but more importantly, looking for opportunities to re-architect / refactor workloads into cloud native solutions

What you'll need to be successful:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Server and Desktop) in an enterprise context
• A good understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with end user compute services such as Citrix, VMWare Horizon or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Server
• AWS or Azure experience would be highly regarded, however, if you have not had the opportunity to get deep, hands on experience with the cloud - we want to hear from
• you.
• Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft End User Computing technologies including Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment
• Advanced experience with Active Directory/Azure AD: Manage devices identity, users, & groups and group policy.
• Automation experience (Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Python etc) or a willingness to learn
• Understanding of DevOps, and modern application release patterns
• A willingness to step outside your comfort zone and learn new technologies and practices
