ABOUT GALVINS

Galvins Plumbing Supplies is a family-owned Western Australian company founded in 1933 and has grown to be the leading plumbing supplier with 25 branches located throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory

We are currently looking for a Counter Salesperson / Storeperson to join our company, based out of our Geraldton branch, and are always looking for driven and conscientious people to join our ranks. There may be career progression opportunities once experienced This job is for local applicants only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greeting customers and taking orders

· Assist customers with product selection and make recommendations

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

· Resolve any customer concerns in a timely manner

· Pick & pack orders

· Check & allocate orders

· Loading and unloading goods

· Assisting customers & long-standing friends of the company with queries

· Handling of stock (including assisting our Despatch Department)

· Efficient expedition of stock

· Ensuring customer satisfaction

Well Sought After

· Computer literacy

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· A polite and friendly disposition

· A customer focussed attitude

· Advanced product knowledge

· An ability to work in a team environment

· Attention to detail and organisational skills

· C Class license
