Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds. The Role
Full Time | Fixed Term – 22 January 2026 to 3 April 2026
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Health and Physical Education teacher to join our dedicated teaching team for Term 1, 2026. This full-time, fixed-term position offers the opportunity to teach senior secondary health and physical education, including VCE subjects, in a supportive and faith-based educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Health and PE lessons that promote student wellbeing and physical development.
- Plan, assess, and report on student learning in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom and sporting environment that reflects Christian values.
- Contribute to planning and delivery of school sporting events, carnivals, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing and academic progress.
- Uphold and actively contribute to the school's commitment to child safety.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings
About You
- Hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications in education and Health & Physical Education.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Health and PE at the secondary level.
- A commitment to Christian education and the values of the school.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
