Briz Kids is a vibrant, creative children's entertainment company bringing magic to parties and events across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast. From princesses and superheroes to mad scientists, disco dancers, and roving performers – we do it all

We're currently seeking performers, actors, and entertainers to join our weekend events team

About the Role:

As a Briz Kids Entertainer, you'll perform at birthday parties and special events for children aged 3–14. You'll:

  • Host interactive games and activities
  • Perform in costume and stay in character
  • Lead themed party experiences (princess, superhero, science, craft, pamper & more)
  • Create unforgettable, high-energy performances that make kids' faces light up

No two parties are the same – every event is a new stage to shine

We're Looking For:

  • Confident actors, performers, or creatives with a flair for fun
  • Individuals who love working with children and using their performing arts skills in a playful way
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and strong communication skills
  • Weekend availability (most parties are Saturday & Sunday)
  • A reliable car and valid driver's license (essential)
  • Male performers who can take on solo hosting roles as Superhero characters.

Ideal for:

  • Actors, drama students, performing arts graduates, musical theatre performers, dancers, or teaching artists looking for fun, flexible weekend work
  • Early childhood educators or youth workers with a passion for creativity and play
  • People with experience in face painting, balloon twisting, storytelling, or interactive theatre
  • Prospective theatre students looking for a way to broaden their performance skills and take on a variety roles and challenges

Must-Haves:

  • Willingness to obtain a Blue Card
  • Your own reliable vehicle
  • Based in or near Brisbane
  • A can-do attitude

All training will be provided on-site by our supportive team.
