Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining building plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and alignment with lifecycle planning.
  • Coordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and other systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
  • Respond to body corporate requests and service issues with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in budgeting and expenditure control for maintenance and operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation across inspections, repairs, and contractor performance.
  • Preparing monthly building reports and attending body corporate meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with property managers to align facilities operations with asset strategies.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Facilities Management role, ideally within high-rise mixed used residential properties.
  • Strong technical knowledge across building systems and services.
  • Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
  • Familiarity with WHS, building codes, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong understanding of QLD Strata Legislation preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
