Warehouse Team Member

Position title:

Warehouse Storeperson - Full Time, 5 days per week including weekends (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

Director

Purpose of position:

To perform an array of functions that result in customer orders being filled correctly and shipped within the allotted time frame whilst maintaining an orderly warehouse.

This position is required to act with integrity, professionalism and teamwork and always ensure compliance with organisational safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

·     Prepare Shopify orders by processing requests; picking products; packing boxes in line with order specifications.

·     Accurately pick and safely pack orders in line with company procedures; including bubble wrapping where necessary, adding in marketing materials and securely sealing and post/courier labelling for dispatch.

·     Assist with receiving and unloading incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

·     Entering invoiced stock into Shopify for sale online.

·     Sorting and place stock on racks, shelves or bins according to organisational standards.

·     Advise supervisor about stock on hand (SOH) and re-ordering levels.

·     Engage in professional customer service via email, via online chat bots, on the phone, and in person for retail walk-in customers.

·     Ensure the company OH&S requirements are adhered to.

·     Report any defects in items of equipment and supplies to ensure that equipment is maintained in good working order and there is no risk of injury.

·     If required to unlock and lock up the warehouse, ensure care is taken to turn off all equipment and follow the close procedures carefully.

·     Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties with pride and maintain a clean, safe work area at all times.

·     Attendance and participation in team meetings and other meetings as directed.

·     Promote a positive and professional image of FodShop in all dealings with customers and delivery staff.

·     Engage and participate in ongoing review of operations for continuous improvement of overall service delivery.

Knowledge

·     Knowledge and application of industrial and personal safety behaviours preferred.

·     Proficiency in using the Shopify e-commerce platform order fulfillment program preferred.

·     Keen attitude, willing to learn about FODMAP and gut health relevant food and medical nutrition products for people with IBS needing support.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

·       Proficient in English language, verbal & written.

·       High School certificate or equivalent.

· yrs previous warehouse experience.

Desirable:

·       Previous experience picking and packing in a fast-moving/online grocery environment (preferred).

·       Confidence in operating e-commerce platform Shopify (preferred).

·     Previous experience working in a retail/FMCG warehouse environment (preferred).

·     Food and nutrition knowledge and/or interest, and/or willingness to learn about the role of food & nutrition in gut health.
