About the role

Blooming Cafe' is seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our dynamic team in Bankstown, NSW. As a full-time Barista, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare a wide variety of coffee beverages to the highest standards, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more
  • Showcase your skill and creativity through meticulous latte art elevating the visual appeal of each beverage
  • Engage customers in meaningful conversations about our premium coffee offerings, sharing insights into origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to enhance their coffee knowledge and appreciation.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines and other cafe equipment with care and efficiency
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Assist with cafe operations, such as stocking, cleaning, and general food preparation as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the cafe team to ensure efficient and smooth service
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
  • Excellent coffee-making skills and a deep understanding of coffee bean varieties, roasts, and brewing methods
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers
  • Positive attitude, strong multitasking abilities, and the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
  • Relevant Barista or Hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential
