About the Role

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to display their skills in our Cornerstone café. If you have a passion for developing barista skills, are interested in learning Café operations and you are looking to develop your knowledge, then this opportunity is for you.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the existing café staff to provide exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have immaculate personal presentation and communication skills.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Demonstrated commitment to our Culture Values: 'Can-do' Attitude, Strong Team Player, and willingness to surprise and delight our customers
- Café Duties; such as preparing and serving food and beverages for consumption on the premises
- Taking customers food and beverage orders
- Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished
- Cleaning tables
- Suggestive selling of menu items
- Prepare and serve a wide range of products with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Have a genuine interest and understanding of food and drink
- Work Health & Safety responsibilities
- Promoting and monitoring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous barista experience
- High-level oral communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent personal skills
- Knowledge of the Club’s services, activities and promotions.
- Knowledge of WHS principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of RSA and RCG
- Knowledge of the Club’s services, activities and promotions
- Commitment to a high standard of service and customer focus
- Must be prepared to work shift work, weekends and public holidays
