About the Role:

We are seeking Assistant in Nursing (AINs)/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team and provide exceptional care across a variety of healthcare settings, including aged care facilities and community environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are eager to make a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) with patient care
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Support mobility and assist with daily activities
  • Monitor patients' well-being and report changes to healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
  • Follow care plans and agency guidelines to ensure high-quality service

Requirements:

  • Must have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or equivalent
  • Full legal rights to work in Australia
  • At least 3 - 6 months experience in aged care, disability, or hospital settings (preferred)
  • A National Police Check (within the last 6-12 months)
  • A current First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Flu Vaccination
  • Records of Vaccination / Immunity
  • Your own reliable transport
  • Ability to represent Good Hope Healthcare to the best of your ability
  • Effective communication and great interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and able to maintain a safe and high standard of practice
