About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Maintenance team, based from Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for competently operating mobile items of plant and attachments and assisting Maintenance Supervisors and Assistant Maintenance Supervisors to achieve a safe and well-organised project/activity.

The starting salary for this position is $2,520.35 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About you

Do you have experience operating a wide variety of plant and/or graders? We're looking for a committed and involved team member with demonstrated plant and labouring experience in construction and maintenance works environments. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded understanding in plant capabilities and outputs. To be successful, you will also possess:

• Willingness and ability to successfully undertake physical labouring tasks associated with Council's maintenance and construction activities.
• Willingness to successfully complete recognised training opportunities.
• Elementary oral and written workplace communication skills.
• Elementary literacy and numeracy skills.
