Are you an Enrolled Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced theatre environment? The Northern Adelaide Local Health invites you to join our highly skilled Theatre team, where you'll play a vital role in the delivery of outstanding surgical care.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As an Enrolled Nurse specialising in Theatre Scrub/Scout duties, you'll work alongside experienced surgeons and theatre staff, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through meticulous attention to detail and professional excellence. This position offers the perfect work-life balance.

The perioperative suite at the Modbury hospital contains:

• 4 operating theatres
• 2 procedure rooms
• 11 bay recovery unit

Modbury Hospital perform a variety of high throughput elective surgeries such as Orthopaedics including Arthroplasties, Urology, General surgery, Plastic surgery, Breast surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology.

Currently Modbury perioperative department is a Monday to Friday service with staff participation in on-call. We offer a supportive environment that facilitates a positive learning culture.

There are opportunities to collaborate with the Lyell McEwin Hospital perioperative department to develop more advanced clinical skills and knowledge in elective, emergency and trauma surgery for those interested in experiencing higher complexity, major surgeries. At times you may be required to work across both sites.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
