Responsibilities

• We are seeking an outstanding Senior Designer to join the Confluence Whiteboards design team. Confluence Whiteboards is an interactive and collaborative tool that visually captures ideas and thoughts, allowing for easy organization and transformation into actionable steps.
• As part of the team reporting to the Content Types Design Manager, you will collaborate with colleagues in Sydney/AUS and North America to spearhead strategic design projects focused on enhancing the customer experience of Confluence Whiteboards.
• Working alongside other designers and various design teams within the organization, you will create consistent, high-quality experiences that resonate with our diverse global customer base.
• Your responsibilities will include crafting visually striking and cohesive designs, collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of visual collaboration.
• In this position, you will translate insights into exceptional experiences, aiming to make Confluence Whiteboards a must-have tool that delights teams worldwide. Your direct impact on the product's evolution and our global user community will be significant in the realm of visual collaboration.
• The ideal candidate should be adept at addressing a variety of challenges and developing detailed interaction design specifications. Strong visual design skills are essential for creating impactful images, templates, custom icons, and upholding high product design standards.
• Experience in working across multiple teams to foster cross-functional collaboration for successful project delivery is crucial. Proficiency in agile methodologies, with a focus on continuous iteration and ideation to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, is required.
• A genuine passion for online whiteboards, drawing applications, and visual collaboration tools is highly valued.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Professional Product Design experience, with some familiarity of Confluence products.
• An eye for detail, with a customer-centric lens.
• Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback.
• Comfortable conducting and summarizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong Figma proficiency and experience with interface design
• Experience collaborating successfully with designers, developers, product managers, and other team members.
