About The Role

Part-time pharmacist position in Hobart, Tasmania

30 hours per week (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and supervise dispensing of prescriptions
  • Provide professional counselling on safe and effective use of medicines
  • Deliver funded health programs and services
  • Provide and promote in-store vaccination services
  • Collaborate with general practitioners and other health care professionals to ensure coordinated,
  • patient-centred care
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations
  • Maintain professional standards and compliance

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist (without conditions or undertakings)
  • Friendly, collaborative, and committed to great patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Current First Aid, CPR and immunisation training is essential
  • Experience with 8CPA professional services is desirable

We are ALSO looking for an experienced dispensary technician to join our tight-knit team. This role

is part-time with flexible Monday to Friday hours (negotiable).

Your responsibilities will include taking prescriptions in, dispensing prescriptions, processing sales at

the sales counter, unpacking dispensary stock, assisting with Schedule 3 medicine sales, and triaging

dispensary enquiries.
