Role Description

This is a part or full-time hybrid role for a Proficent Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner located in the Adelaide Area, with the flexibility of some work-from-home arrangements. The Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalized behavior support plans, and providing training to support staff and families. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years Experience in conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing behavior support plans
  • Skills in training and providing guidance to support staff and families
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Current registration with relevant professional bodies
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
