A place to make a difference:
In this full-time, maximum term role (through to end of December 2026, with potential for extension) based in Mount Isa (with travel as detailed below), you'll lead our team of practitioners in the Family and Child Connect Program. As part of our Queensland Programs team, you'll report to the Regional Manager.
You will make a difference by:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative requirements of the Family and Child Connect Program, including the Local Level Alliance and the Family Integrated Case Management services
- Leading services in remote locations, from Richmond in NWQ up to Mornington Island in the Gulf of Carpentaria
- Leading a team of practitioners throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle, including provision of expert support and advice in Supervision sessions
- Role modelling and facilitating a learning culture by proactively maintaining knowledge of relevant research, programmatic themes and opportunities to enhance team skills and capability

This role requires:
- Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly families experiencing family and domestic violence
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Community Development etc) or significant equivalent experience
