THE OPPORTUNITY
This position would be ideal for an experienced Senior Manager seeking a career change or a Supervisor seeking career progression. Be part of an esteemed accounting firm in the vibrant cityscape of Brisbane. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional financial services to clients, utilising your expertise in preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and managing a dedicated team of accountants. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs Compile FBT returns Prepare BASs and IASs Supervise and provide guidance to a team of accountants Manage and oversees own client portfolio Travel to client locations as necessary Participate in internal and external training sessions organized by the firmEXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Hold a degree in accounting (BCom or BBus) Over 7 years experience in business services within an accounting firm Hold CA or CPA qualification Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build enduring relationships with clients Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a larger engagement team Possess considerable experience in delegation and team managementTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
