MC/HC Truck Driver

The Greenmountain Group of businesses is Australia's largest family-owned and operated vertically integrated beef and veal production and processing operation. Greenmountain specializes in growing and sourcing naturally bred, naturally fed beef and veal to be processed at our modern export food processing establishment at Coominya in the Somerset region of south-east Queensland.

The company is currently looking for an experienced HC or MC qualified driver to work within it's distribution department.

In this hands on role you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. You will be involved in a range of logistic operations, including but not limited to:

• Local deliveries of meat products from our processing facility to designated cold stores, ports, and retailers
• Day-Trips to the Northern rivers to make deliveries to our NSW retail store and farms, moving agricultural products I.e. Hay and Fertilizers and Farming equipment between our sites.

This is a unique role which will require flexibility and not every day will be the same.

This is a Monday to Friday role.

The successful candidates must have;

• A current MC or HC license with minimum 2 years experience in the trade
• Demonstrate clear and accurate communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good driving record and welcoming to random drug/alcohol testing
• Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• A great attitude with a history of honesty and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport product and equipment according to company and industry regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Completion of all required logistical paperwork
• Taking responsibility for the presentation and condition of the vehicle
