About us

RJ Earthworks is locally owned and operated and the leading earthworks contractor in the Lockyer Valley, we have a modern fleet of equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications & experience

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (preferrably HC or MC)
  • Trade Qualification as Mobile Plant Technician or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience/ demostrated experience with earthmoving, heavy road transport and other mobile plant and equipment
  • Construction Industry Induction Card (Blue/White Card)
  • Proven experience in diagnosis of issues
  • Ability to complete all repairs and maintenance in safe and timely manner, ensure all work is to highest quality
  • Consistent commitment to maintaining highest levels of workplace health and safety.
  • Ability to work autonumouslym in fast paced environment
  • Sound understanding of Electrical systems
  • Be able to assist operating plant or heavy vehicles when not undertaking maintenance and repairs

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Mechanical diagnosis, repair and service of equipment, heavy and light vehicles
  • Sourcing and ordering parts
  • Field servicing when required
  • Modern fleet of vehicles and plant from Trucks, Excavators, Loaders, other mobile plant, Fleet of Utes, small engines
