Evolve Talent is looking for site experienced Utilities to join our teams working on various client sites in the Cairns, Mackay, Gladstone, Rockhampton & Darling Downs regions. These roles are DIDO.

The role of a Utility worker is both repetitive & physical including bending and heavy lifting and can involve any of the following tasks.

  • Housekeeping - cleaning rooms, making beds, emptying bins.
  • Industrial / domestic cleaning - Deep Cleans.
  • Laundry - Washing, drying, and sorting linens.
  • Kitchen Hand - High volume dishwashing, basic food prep.
  • Dining Room Attending
  • Bar and Tavern work

Skills and experiences

  • QLD Driving License and own transport (essential)
  • Safe Food handling Certificate
  • Current police check - 6 months, or willing to obtain (Essential)
  • Mining experience is highly desirable.
  • Approved Managers Certificate highly desirable.
  • Housekeeping in hotels/motels
  • Residential, Commercial or Industrial Cleaning
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions. (Harsh Heat and Humidity)
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Be able to pass Drug Screens every 28 days.
  • Unlimited working rights.
  • Contactable references
