Outbound/Inbound Sales Showroom Consultant – Construction Industry

This role will see you working for a design lead organisation who has over the last 20 years become the most awarded HIA Renovations association member. Their values and vision differentiate them from their competitors and underpin their ongoing success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong customer connections with both new and returning customers on the phone, in the showroom and online.

  • Develop outbound sales strategies that clearly target and are pitched at the appropriate customer demographic and be comfortable dealing with objections.

  • Dive deep to understand what really matters to each client, from their motivations and dreams to the budget they have set for their renovation.

  • Stay organised and two steps ahead by qualifying leads and keeping client details up to date in Salesforce.

  • Focus your energy on clients who are ready to move forward, so you are always working toward strong results and high conversion rates.

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the business and how they differentiate themselves from their competitors' and give the customers a compelling reason to go with your company.

  • Offer thoughtful, straightforward guidance at every step, ensuring clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A confident communicator who builds trust quickly and is not afraid to dig deeper with follow-up questions.

  • Someone passionate about home and interior design.

  • Experience with digital platforms, including Salesforce and can manage multiple lead sources.

  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude to help drive team targets.

-Professionalism, energy and drive and someone who is collaborative and loves being part of a team and sharing team success.

Importantly, you will have superior interpersonal communication, organisation and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.  You will have a natural business development mindset and be able to transition telephone enquiries / lead follow up into a sales opportunity for the design team.

You will be highly adaptable and responsive with the ability to create solutions, supported by your attention to detail to ensure you are achieving your roles expectations.

A demonstrated history in a business development / sales environment ideally gained from the Building Construction industry and an ability to create a positive connection with people from all backgrounds.  Your exceptional presentation and communication skills, combined with a positive, 'can do' attitude, will see you thrive in this role. You will bring maturity, polish and previous client interaction experience. Experience in using Salesforce is must for this opportunity. A formal qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is desirable, however not essential.
