Totally Workwear Hoppers Crossing, Braybrook, Brooklyn and Melton have been servicing the western suburbs of Melbourne and regional Victoria for 20 years. Providing leading brands in workwear and corporate clothing to businesses, schools, trades, hospitality, health providers and Government. As well as supplying garments, we have a large inhouse branding (embroidery and digital print) service.

The role:

We're growing fast, and we're seeking an enthusiastic retail assistant to join our team.

Joining a high performing retail team, this hands-on role will see you assisting our store managers to lead from the front and to grow their respective stores. You'll be trained to delivering an incredible experience for both our retail and B2B customers.

This is a casual role and will involve weekend work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strive for excellence and "go beyond" in every customer interaction
  • Supporting the Store Manager and Management Team in achieving business goals
  • Assist clients with selection of merchandise
  • Develop strong commercial relationships with clients
  • Contributing to all aspects of retail store operations; serving customers, managing orders, visual merchandising, processing stock etc

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Impeccable standards in customer service
  • A proven track record of leadership and teamwork
  • A friendly and upbeat demeanour
  • Enthusiasm to learn about the workwear and safety industry
  • A passion for solving problems and achieving the best outcomes for customers
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to "get your hands dirty" - although this is predominantly a customer facing role, you'll potentially be asked to contribute in many aspects of our business, including warehouse operations and office work.
  • Excellent personal presentation

Retail experience, ideally in a high volume and fast paced store, is preferable but not essential.
