How you'll make an impact

This role is to make an impact by effectively managing the complex administration tasks for customers and advisers on the North platform including but not limited to: contributions, payments out, inspecie transfers maintenance cases. The role will also be responsible for the oversight, administration and quality of all North emails. The role oversees North Operations and TCS Operations actioning all client and adviser-initiated transaction through to their completion and maintains a customer first focus and performance excellence culture.

  • Effectively manage and motivate the team to initiate, administer and finalise customer and adviser transaction requests including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, inspecie advice fee processing, refunds, client and adviser email enquiries
  • Lead and manage a team of diverse skills, capabilities, and experience enabling them to meet business strategies and goals
  • Active development and ongoing improvement of case management standards, quality assurance and the level of service delivered to clients, adviser and stakeholders
  • Build and manage effective partnerships that engage stakeholders in understanding the issues, identifying innovative solutions and in supporting best practice customer onboarding
  • Ensure all compliance obligations are met and all delegations adhered to.
  • Assess and implement regulatory changes impacting North clients and advisers
  • Work closely with all areas of the North business to deliver reports to all regulatory bodies, as needed, before the relevant deadline.
  • Assist external auditors to review/analyse customer and adviser transaction data and process across the North platform
  • Foster strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups, both internal and external to the business

What you will bring to the team

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role: 

  • Previous 2+ years' experience in managing people and working across a fast paced, customer/client service orientated team environment and/or financial service industry and driving a collaborative, high performance culture
  • Experience in providing technical experience within own area/team
  • Experiencing in managing change effectively
  • Broad understanding and experience of wealth management and processes of financial planning
  • Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for financial services
  • Ability to coach, motivate, influence and engage team members to build capability in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills applied within the Platforms business and team leadership role
  • Ability to demonstrate day to day decision making that drives good customer outcomes and supportive environment for team members
  • Ability to drive delivery of results ie metrics and targets through others via effective leadership and coaching to develop a performance excellence culture
