We're on the lookout for experienced, passionate Cocktail Bartenders to join our award-winning Bars Team at Shell House, Sydney's iconic multi-level hospitality destination.

With four distinct bars under one roof — from the buzzing Menzies Bar to the sky-high Clocktower Bar — you'll enjoy variety, creativity, and the opportunity to work with some of the industry's best.

Our Beverage Director, Josh Reynolds, leads a program of seasonal, thoughtful drinks with bold, elevated flavours, executed with precision. You'll be part of a team that's redefining the Sydney bar experience, delivering both exceptional cocktails and polished, restaurant-level service.

THE VENUE

Shell House is more than a venue — it's a journey across three levels of hospitality excellence:

  • Menzies Bar – a vibrant ground floor bar and bistro
  • Dining Room & Terrace – elegant indoor/outdoor dining on Level 9
  • Clocktower Bar & Sky Bar – rooftop glamour and creative cocktails on Level 10

Our spaces have been awarded for their design, atmosphere, and service — but it's our people who bring the energy, warmth, and magic to every shift.

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Cocktail Bartender in premium, high-volume bars or restaurants
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern techniques, and premium spirits
  • Confident in delivering high-standard drinks alongside exceptional guest service
  • Adaptable — equally comfortable in a fast-paced cocktail bar or refined restaurant setting
  • Immaculate personal presentation and grooming
  • Passionate about hospitality, guest engagement, and being part of a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Available to work Fridays and Saturdays, with additional shifts available across the week
