The Role:

Our client is a reputable South Australian owned and operated business, looking for Factory Hands to assist within their growing food manufacturing & packaging operation based in Salisbury.

You will be responsible for managing the cooking, batching, weighing & packaging process of food products, ensuring weight requirements and quality assurance is met.

This position requires a highly diligent candidate with strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift hours: 7am until 3:06pm

Criteria:

  • Previous Food Manufacturing or Factory experience essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Good HACCP & Food Safety knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working within a cool environment
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a small team
  • Highly diligent and conscientious
  • Forklift Licence desirable

Duties:

  • Packing and manual weighing of food products
  • Operating tape machine
  • Pack finished product into boxes
  • Clean & sanitise machines and work stations
  • Quality assurance
  • Stack pallets
  • Meet production deadlines
