THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Trade Assistants to join the team at Ora Banda.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• General housekeeping of tools and work area, including workshop and maintenance vehicles
• Assist in storing maintenance equipment and supplies
• Perform trades assistant tasks, including using mechanical and electrical equipment, machinery and hand tools
• Transport tools, materials, and work equipment to and from the workplace or workbenches as required
• Maintain work records and stock inventory as required
• Assist tradespersons as and when required
• Other duties that may arise on a day-to-day basis

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:  

• Previous experience as a General Hand, Handyman or Trades Assistant
• Manual driver's licence
• Previous experience in mining is highly desirable
• Experience in a maintenance environment and working with hand tools and mobile equipment
• Front end loader and forklift competency certificates are desirable
• Enter confined spaces, Working at heights, Gas Test Atmosphere, current first aid desirable
