About the Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Casual Trade Assistant to join our team in a busy subsea equipment facility based in Perth. This hands-on role supports our technical and warehouse operations and offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the subsea and offshore industry.

You'll work closely with technicians, logistics, and engineering teams to assist in the preparation, maintenance, and mobilisation of specialised subsea equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople and technicians in the assembly, maintenance, and testing of subsea equipment
  • General warehouse duties including loading/unloading, packing, and equipment preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workshop and work areas
  • Support inventory control and documentation
  • Assist with mobilisations and demobilisations of offshore equipment
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery (if licensed)
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisors and team leaders

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, workshop, or trade assistant role (preferred but not essential)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Safety-conscious with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Forklift license (highly desirable)
  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in subsea/offshore equipment a bonus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early starts and occasional overtime
