We are partnering with a US-based private equity firm with a strong track record of long-term investments in food and agribusiness companies. They back founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams with patient capital, strategic insight, and hands-on operational expertise to drive sustainable growth.

With a proven history in North America and an Australian partner now on the ground, the firm is launching its new Australian office to expand its reach in the Asia-Pacific region. They are seeking an Associate to join this founding team, offering exceptional exposure to deal origination, execution, and portfolio value creation from day one.

This is a people-first business that thrives on genuine partnerships and a value creation mindset. As Associate, you will build and manage relationships across the food and agribusiness sector, conduct investment screening, financial modelling, and valuations, prepare high-quality investment committee papers and support portfolio companies on strategic growth and operational initiatives

We are looking for candidates with 3–6 years' relevant experience in investment banking, investing, Big4, project finance, or similar. You will have strong analytical, modelling, and valuation skills, a demonstrable interest or background in food and agriculture (highly regarded) and the ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, small-team environment

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the firm's presence in Australia, working closely with the partner and senior leadership in Chicago. You will have the chance to spend time in the US office, gain direct exposure to high-quality transactions, and be rewarded with a market-competitive salary.
