The opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our Industrial and Power Generation East team, supporting the CS Energy Alliance contract. Based at Callide Power Station in Biloela, this casual role provides essential project and team administration across multiple functions within the business unit. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders including Program Directors, Delivery Managers, and operational personnel, as well as external clients and subcontractors.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar administrative role.
• Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience with systems such as JDE, Webtimes, Kofax, Concur, Kronos, Synchro (desirable).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• A construction industry white card or willingness to obtain.

Key responsibilities include:

• Payroll and project cost tracking.
• Finance administration including invoicing, vendor setup, and budget entry.
• Mobilisation support including travel, accommodation, and PPE coordination.
• Executive support such as meeting coordination and expense processing.
• General administration to support leadership and site teams.
