Green Light Australia are currently looking for experienced and driven
DevSecOps Engineer (NV1)
to join our delivery team in Canberra. You will have solid DevOps experience with a good background in security also.
Key Accountabilities:
The DevSecOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Automation & Integration Specialist will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
- Provide technical leadership in design, architecture, build and transition activities. Work with related project teams and product lines to identify and deliver the solution requirements and systems integration.
- Author, review, contribute and develop Architecture Designs, including (Solution, High-Level, Detailed) and, in accordance with the surrounding landscape including specifications (functional, governance, performance) and requirements (functional, processual, procedural, security) and translate those into operational documentation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to assess and partner with external vendors and suppliers to understand their capabilities and work collaboratively to provide solutions and optimise designs to achieve the expected outcomes already identified within architectural designs.
- Conduct capability and concept development in alignment with technical requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in designing, configuring, implementing, coding and developing, DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines within Australia Government agencies, specifically using GitLab, Ansible and PowerShell.
- 5-10 years of experience as a developer, using Microsoft .NET technologies (i.e. C#, , PowerShell), and programming common API integration, e.g. RestFUL.
- Detailed knowledge and skills in the process, design, implementation, configuration of DevSecOps technologies; specifically using Ansible, GitLab, PowerShell, bash, python, Jira and confluence.
- Detailed knowledge and skills in applying cyber security principles towards the design, implementation and configuration of DevSecOps technologies. Security hardening of DevSecOps technologies in accordance with relevant governance frameworks and policies.
- Detailed knowledge and skills in leveraging DevSecOps technologies to apply agile methodologies and principles.
- Detailed knowledge and skills in utilising DevSecOps technologies to deliver infrastructure-as-code and documentation-as-code.
- Experience developing patterns and templates for infrastructure automation in support of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and rapid onboarding of technical resources.
- Must have experience working with and automating Windows and Linux platforms.
- Ability to take requirements, standards and frameworks and apply in a practical application to future proposed solution designs and systems.
