Employment Type: Full-time (Part-time and Contractor roles considered)

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (based on experience)

About the Role

This is a full-time position based on the Sunshine Coast, with the flexibility to work part-time or as a contractor for the right candidate. You'll work across our Maroochydore clinic, via telehealth, and outreach across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Moreton Bay regions.

Every day looks a little different — one hour you might be helping a young dad manage anxiety, the next you're supporting a tradie through burnout or checking in with an older client via telehealth. If you're motivated by variety, autonomy, and real impact, you'll thrive with us.

You'll support a diverse range of clients through:

• Medicare (Mental Health Treatment Plans)
• NDIS
• DVA
• WorkCover QLD
• Private Health and self-funded services

While many of our clients are men and boys, we also support women and gender-diverse individuals who connect with our approach.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver individual therapy using Focussed Psychological Strategies and skills-based approaches
• Create tailored treatment and safety plans
• Maintain professional case notes, reports, and communication with GPs, allied health, and support networks
• Participate in supervision, peer support, and PD opportunities
• Collaborate within a small, passionate multidisciplinary team
• Represent Mindful Men at local networking and community events

About You

You're a clinician who leads with empathy, shows up authentically, and believes in the power of real connection.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA) or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW)
• Eligibility for (or current) Medicare Provider Number
• 1–2+ years' experience in mental health or disability
• Experience working with (or a strong interest in working with) men and boys
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Confidence working across clinic, community, and telehealth settings
• Current Blue Card, Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Check), Police Check, driver's licence, and reliable vehicle
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
