Investor Relations Manager – Melbourne based

Our client is a highly regarded listed organisation and is interested to hear from outstanding candidates who can bring relevant skills and experience to the Investor Relations Manager role. The successful candidate will take ownership of the investor relations function, helping to communicate the company's strategy, performance and long-term vision to the investment community. You will help execute the investor relations strategy, prepare investor communications (various ASX announcements, Annual Report, results presentations), manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, monitor market expectations versus internal forecasts, provide market and peer insights to senior leadership. This role will suit candidates with strong financial acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience gained in investor relations, equity research, investment banking or corporate finance within an ASX environment.

Candidates who have a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply;

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance or financial communications
  • Strong financial skills with the ability to interpret and clearly explain financial statements and performance drivers
  • Experience preparing investor materials such as ASX announcements, Annual Report, and result presentations
  • Proactive, commercially astute and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
  • Ability to build credible relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, brokers and senior executives
  • Exposure to ASX-listed companies and disclosure requirements viewed favourably
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting; post-graduate study (MBA, CFA, CA, AIRA Diploma) will be well regarded
  • Outstanding attention to detail, time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines
