SMSF Administrator

We are an accounting and financial services business seeking a professional, self-motivated, team oriented and experienced SMSF administrator for our Essendon office.

Reporting to the SMSF Manager, this role primarily focuses on SMSF administration tasks, client communication and client contact.

The role offers considerable scope for you to demonstrate and build upon your existing skills while providing the training you need and want. Our office hours (and working hours) are 8:30am-5:00pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate internally to staff and to clients effectively.
  • Scanning & digital filing
  • Management of regulatory lodgement deadlines and workflow
  • Liaison with third parties including the ATO
  • Management of client data
  • Assisting with a wide range of superannuation tasks.
  • Miscellaneous admin tasks

Experience – Compulsory:

  • Experience working in the accounting and/or financial planning industry

Experience – ideally you have:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years current SMSF experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills
