We're thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity to join BOC a Linde Company as a Business Development Specialist, based out at Mackay and looks after Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Mt Isa & Darwin. This full-time role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving the company's growth strategy. You will identify and secure new clients across a range of industries. What You Will Enjoy Doing

• In this role you will identify new business opportunities within existing geographical boundaries, as well to win and secure profitable competitor customers as per branch budget targets
• Target and increase tonnage against monthly budgets is part of your role, further to model Elgas and Linde Group Service and Ethical Standards
• Complete and submit monthly reports on due dates
• You will also report on all product categories in relevant branch in regards to margin, volume and competitor activity
• Establish and maintain data on the customer information base, via appropriate EWS screens
• Further you will develop trade allies and ensure they are serviced
• Conduct cylinder safety-training sessions for new customers as required
• You will develop and maintain records of opposition customers, and to ensure new customers operate towards Elgas safety standards
• Liaise with branch and transport functions to ensure desirable service levels are achieved
• Co-ordinate and co-operate with Customer Service Staff where necessary to achieve goals and targets for respective areas
• You will monitor sign work, promotions, advertising, etc. to ensure that Elgas logo, trademark and other company identifications are presented consistent with company guidelines and exposure is maximised

What Makes You Great

• 2-3 years industrial gas field sales experience are required in this role
• Clean and valid driver's license
• You have a strong sales experience and you are results orientated
• Negotiation skills suit your profile
• In addition you have excellent oral and written communication skills
