Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Construction Laborer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, particularly in remedial and residential construction. This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, a valid driver's licence, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general manual labour
  • Assisting trades and site supervisors with day-to-day tasks
  • Carrying out demolition, preparation, and general construction work
  • Demolition work
  • Assist trades on site
  • Operate power tools
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as required
  • Ensure work is completed to high standards and in accordance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with skilled tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth site operations
  • Perform site clean-up and ensure all materials and tools are properly stored and maintained

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction
  • White Card
  • Ability to safely undertake tasks without constant supervision
  • Work effectively as a team member
  • Punctuality, reliability and willingness to be flexible
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual labour
  • Ability to follow instructions and problem-solve on the go
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to interact with clients in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
  • Valid driver's license is required
