Chaplaincy Coordinator

The Civil Chaplaincies Advisory Committee (CCAC), in partnership with Corrective Services NSW and through a Religious Member Organisation as the employing body, is seeking a Chaplaincy Coordinator to oversee the delivery of spiritual and pastoral care to inmates and staff across Correctional Centres in New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the ongoing development of Corrective Services Chaplains and the Chaplaincy service—a multifaith body comprising approximately 90 chaplains serving institutions across NSW.
- Liaise with and report to the CCAC, Corrective Services NSW, and the multifaith Religious Member Organisations represented on the CCAC.
- Ensure high-quality spiritual and pastoral services are delivered in alignment with the values and expectations of the CCAC and Corrective Services NSW.
Requirements:
- You must be an accredited religious practitioner of a Religious Member Organisation affiliated with the CCAC.
- The Religious Member Organisation will act as the official employing body and will negotiate salary and employment conditions based on the subsidy provided by Corrective Services NSW.
- You must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident.
