Location: Based in WA - Boorloo (Perth), from Doondalup (Joondalup) in the north, to Goomburrup (Bunbury) in the south, or anywhere in between. Face-to-face and online delivery required.

Hey you

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sessional Trainer with a background in community and care services to inspire and upskill the next generation of care professionals. Whether you're based in Doondalup (Joonadalup), Goomburrup (Bunbury), or anywhere in between, we've got work for you. As a trainer, you'll share your knowledge, bring industry practice to life, and help learners deepen their expertise to make a real difference in their communities.

We are planning for this program to commence in early 2026 and encourage early applications.

About Activ Pathways

You'll join Activ Pathways, one of genU's two Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). While genU Training and Activ Pathways operate separately, both share a common goal: empowering people through learning and skills development.

What you'll do

As a Sessional Trainer, you will empower learners to expand their skills and knowledge in the disability sector. In this role, you will:

• Deliver the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) via face-to-face and online modes.
• Support learners from diverse backgrounds, including those new to the industry and existing care professionals.
• Share real-world insights from your professional experience to create an engaging, relevant, and practical learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Activ Pathways and genU Training teams to continuously enhance course delivery and learner experience.

What you'll bring

• Formal industry qualification in community services, aged care, individual support, or disability.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in the disability or community services sector.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a genuine passion for professional development and lifelong learning.
• Confidence in delivering engaging face-to-face and online sessions and managing digital learning tools effectively.

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

• Currency in HLTAID001 (CPR) and HLTAID011 (First Aid)
