$145,605 - $160,719 salary package - includes base salary ($128,284 - $141,600), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
This role is responsible for leading a proactive, prioritised, and coordinated approach to facilities maintenance across the state. With a strong focus on preventative and condition-based maintenance, the position aims to optimise asset performance and minimise total lifecycle costs.
Working closely with the Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing the Strategic Facilities Maintenance and Asset Replacement Plan. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across facilities maintenance strategies, systems, and services, ensuring they remain responsive, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.
About You
As the Maintenance Planning Officer, you bring solid experience in developing and implementing facilities maintenance plans within large and complex organisations. You are confident working across a diverse portfolio of assets, infrastructure, and site locations, ensuring maintenance activities are well-planned, prioritised, and aligned with organisational needs.
You have a strong track record of implementing systems and processes that improve maintenance outcomes. This includes enhancing responsiveness, refining risk prioritisation, and achieving cost efficiencies. Your ability to think critically and apply practical solutions makes you a key contributor to continuous improvement across facilities maintenance operations.
A trade background or relevant experience would be beneficial, although not essential. Occasional travel may be required as part of the role.
