Casual Senior Social Worker

**About the role

Casual opportunity to deliver social work services within the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Emergency and Trauma Centre across a 24 hour, 7 day a week service. Deliver high level evidence based clinical services, including counselling, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and AASW Professional Practice Standards by assessing complex psychosocial needs of clients impacted by traumatic events.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Apply high level clinical practice to support continuous improvement of quality service delivery including contributing to the development of evidence based clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the Social Work Department and the Sexual Assault Service to facilitate optimal client outcomes.

Contribute to quality improvement activities, including providing advice regarding service delivery matters within the relevant clinical area

Active compliance with departmental, organisational and legislative requirements, including data collection, departmental and social work team forums, and ensuring that Facility initiatives are integrated into clinical practice and organisational work unit guidelines.
