About the Role
If you are a recent accounting graduate (or about to graduate) with a keen interest in the financial services and wealth management industry, then this may be the opportunity for you. You will be able to develop your career with a growing specialisation.
You will receive supported client interaction from when you commence to help you grow and develop in a great work environment.
A typical day may include:
- entering and allocating accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
- undertaking bank and investment reconciliations
- interacting with clients over email and the phone
- preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
- working on rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
- liaising with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
- accurate record keeping, processing and system management, and
- supporting our network of financial and investment advisers.
About You
Key to your success in the role will be:
- A relevant Bachelors' degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn.
- Your ability to manage competing priorities
- Your self-driven approach.
