We are seeking Skilled Meat Workers (Boners, Slicers and Slaughterpersons) to join the team at our Inverell Processing Facility.
Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Position
Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)
Work Location: In person – Inverell, New South Wales, Australia

The Role:
In this role, you will perform skilled meat processing tasks while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Performing skilled boning, slicing, or slaughtering tasks to meet production requirements.
- Handling knives and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure precision and quality.
- Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with industry standards.
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and operational deadlines.
Shift times are as follows:
- Slaughter Floor Day shift approximately - 6:00am - 4:00pm.
- Boning Room Day shift approximately - 5:00am - 2:00pm.
- Boning Room Afternoon Shift approximately - 2:30pm - 12:00am.
About You:
- Proven experience in a meat processing facility as a Boner, Slicer, or Slaughterpersons
- Proficient knife handling skills, including safe and efficient use of cutting tools
- Understanding of production processes and requirements to ensure quality and efficiency
- Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices
- Adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Reliable work history, demonstrating a strong work ethic and consistency
- Ability to pass a physio and medical assessment to meet physical job demands
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as part of the hiring process
