About the role
Join Mater as a Team Leader Warehouse Operations in South Brisbane for a full-time, fixed-term 9-month position. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a dynamic team in delivering seamless supply chain operations services to Mater customers. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality supply chain services, and fostering a proactive and positive work environment.

Salary range: $ $51.73 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits 

What you'll be doing

As the Team Leader Warehouse Operations, you will lead and supervise the team to ensure cohesive and collaborative supply chain operations services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing operational workflow, identifying and resolving issues, improving customer service standards, developing the team through coaching and performance reviews, and promoting the values of Mater Group and Mater Health. In addition, you will adhere to quality, risk, and governance guidelines, contribute to safe and quality patient care, and actively participate in committees, working parties, and projects as required.

About you

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Demonstrated team leadership experience in a large, complex organisation
• Experience leading change and strong change management capability
• Knowledge and experience in supply chain operations, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in ERP platforms or purchasing and inventory management platforms
• Excellent customer service skills, proactive communication, and leadership abilities
• Commitment to working with people to lead and deliver change, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality supply chain services
• Visible and active commitment to workplace health and safety, continuously looking to improve health, safety, and environmental performance within Mater
